First Church is an amazing community of faith. We welcome all people, without exception. Our hope is that after someone gets to know us, he or she will want to know Jesus better and will want to walk with us as we try to do the same. Of course, anyone can know and experience God on their own, but being part of a community of believers who can help with questions, help you discover and use your gifts, offer encouragement as you navigate hard times in life allows you to know God in ways you will not know on your own.
Maybe you’ve met some of us through one of our ministries such as our breakfast, clothes pantry, Game night or a community dinner.
Maybe you’ve had an experience that has you wanting to explore some life questions. For instance, maybe a loved one has gotten sick or may have died. Maybe you’ve had a child recently and are wondering finding a community of positive people to connect him to. Maybe something extraordinary has happened that has you wondering about the nature of your life or life in general.
